Comments:
Originally introduced in 1929, the Gladstone case is constructed of
three separate sections - the bezel, center and back. From 1929
until 1931, the Gladstone was offered in
green gold filled and white
gold filled only.
In the later part of 1931 the
Gladstone was offered in both yellow and white gold filled versions
with yellow gold-filled being the scarcer of the three variations.
There were only 2,069 yellow gold-filled Gladstone's produced.
The Gladstone was offered with two
dial configurations - luminous figures or butler finish with Breguet
style black transfer figures.
