Comments: The Nelson is a member of the "first generation" to utilize Hamilton's rectangular 980 17-jewel movement. It was also part of the "curved to fit the wrist" series and was highlighted in the 1936 Catalog illustrating a side view emphasizing the Nelson's slight curve.
The "curve to fit the wrist" series utilized a two piece case construction with a moisture proof pendant and crown feature. Gold-filled models included in this series were the Cabot, Boone, Carson, Calvin and Bartley.
The Nelson was produced in yellow gold filled only.
