The Seckron is one of the most collectable Hamilton wrist watches
and was designed specifically for doctors and nurses as described in
the 1936 catalog above.
The Seckron utilizes a special 980
17-jewel movement called the 980A. This movement was specifically
designed to allow a greater distance between the hour and second
hand thereby allowing easier reading of the second hand - important
for pulse taking.
The Seckron was produced in yellow
gold-filled only although solid gold Seckron's are known to exist.
