The Turner was produced in yellow and white gold filled only. White
gold Turners are very scarce and subsequently very collectable.
As America was slowing emerging from
the Great Depression, Hamilton introduced a new line of low-priced
watches in an effort to motivate the public to begin buying watches
once again. This line of 10K gold-filled watches included the Dixon,
Drake, Lawrence, Mason, Morley, Scott and Watson, as well as the
Turner.
