Comments: As America was slowing emerging from the Great Depression, Hamilton introduced a new line of low-priced watches in an effort to motivate the public to begin buying watches once again. This line of 10K gold-filled watches included the Dixon, Drake, Lawrence, Mason, Morley, Scott and Turner, as well as the Watson.
The Watson was made in yellow gold filled only and offered in two dial variations - applied gold numeral dial or with gold finish black numeral dial as shown. The gold finish black numeral dial as pictured above is the scarcer of the two offerings.
